Communication

Communication
the act or process of communicating; the imparting or interchange of thoughts, opinions, or information by speech, writing, or signs.
You wake up, say hello to your parents or siblings, or you're dog. You write a small reminder for someone to remember to pick up bread today, put it on a post-it and stick it to your fridge. You drive to school, and study with you're peers, and answer questions that your teacher asks you. When you get home, you text your best friend for a half hour, then watch the news before going to bed.
This example would be one that would be used in my life. I communicate with everyone throughout the day, and I don't think that I could go a day without it. People also just assume sometimes that communication is all about talking, but I think that it can be used with just looks also. When I look at someone and smile, they can tell that I am happy with them. I use communication in everything I do.
When looking at this small example, you can see that so many ways of communication is used in just one day. Without communication, I'm not sure that any of us would be here today. Communication means different things fro different people. It could mean learning sign language to talk to you're new neighbor, who happens to be deaf. It could mean learning to speak another language to keep up with you're pen pal's letters. Communication can connect with everyone, because everyone uses it.

Above is a video about communication through technology through the years. This is a huge type of communication that so many people use today.

Above is a picture of different signs for the alphabet. Sign language can be used for someone who can't hear you when you are talking. Many people around the world know sign language, and it has helped the deaf community to better cope with their challenges.
